On 2 June 2026, the Digital Press Club of India (DPCI), under the guidance of the Digital News and Media Council of India (DNMCI), officially launched its Digital News Network in Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in the mission to promote ethical, responsible and community-centered journalism across India.

The event was attended by distinguished international dignitaries, academic leaders, media professionals and social visionaries from India and abroad.

The prestigious Miss India Elegance project was officially launched during the Bengaluru event in the presence of distinguished international dignitaries, academic leaders and media professionals.

Miss India Elegance aims to provide a national platform for women to showcase their beauty, intelligence, leadership qualities, social commitment and professional excellence while promoting confidence, empowerment and positive social impact.
