New Delhi: Dr. Nixan Thottan, Secretary General of the Digital News and Media Council of India (DNMCI) and Digital Press Club of India (DPCI), held a meeting with Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chief Patron and Hon. President of DNMCI & DPCI, to finalize the dates and modalities of the Grand Launching Ceremony and International Award Function.
During the discussion, Dr. Marwah confirmed the event for January 24, to be held in Trivandrum, Kerala, commencing at 5:00 PM.
The event is expected to witness the presence of VVIP dignitaries, including the Governor, Ambassadors, Ministers, and leading national and international media personalities.
The ceremony will also feature a special National & International Awards segment, recognizing outstanding contributions in media, arts, and public service.

DNMCI and DPCI Hold National Planning Conference in New Delhi – Announces Nationwide Expansion of Digital Press Clubs
New Delhi : The Digital News and Media Council of India (DNMCI), in association with the Digital Press Club of India (DPCI), convened its Annual Governance and Strategic Planning Conference at New Delhi under the visionary guidance of its Chief Patron, Hon. President and Mentor, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, and Secretary General, Dr. Nixan Thottan.
The national-level meeting brought together the Board of Trustees and Directors of DNMCI, comprising eminent media leaders, educators, advocates, and administrators from across India and abroad, to finalize the roadmap for the organization’s 2025–2026 initiatives.

The Council unanimously resolved to establish Digital Press Clubs in every district of India under the official recognition of DNMCI and DPCI.
According to the national plan, a minimum of 100 Digital Press Clubs will be inaugurated across various states by December 30, 2025, followed by full coverage of all districts across India by December 30, 2026.
This strategic initiative aims to bring digital journalists, YouTubers, social media reporters, bloggers, and online news professionals under a unified, structured, and credible press network, ensuring ethical, responsible, and professional media practices nationwide.

Speaking at the conference, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chief Patron of DNMCI and an internationally acclaimed media educator and founder of Marwah Studios, emphasized:
